ViableEdu Professional Development Programme

Now in its sixth year, the ViableEdu Professional Development Program is designed to equip aspiring finance or fintech professionals with the knowledge, insights, and industry access to compete for job opportunities.
Through our initial 4-week program, you’ll build a strong foundation in capital markets and fintech and be given an opportunity to compete for the ViableEdu Apprenticeship Program in July. Distinguished students will be invited to attend the July ViableEdu Apprentice Program at no additional cost.

Program Dates: June 2- June 30, 2026

Programme Structure: Virtual classes via Zoom

• Tuesdays and Thursdays: 8am – 9:30am (EST)
• Mondays and Fridays: 12pm – 1:00pm (EST)

ViableEdu Professional Development Program
Master core capital markets concepts through a curriculum comprising live, 90-min virtual classes, select asynchronous content, and office hours with industry experts. This high-engagement format builds confidence by making complex financial market topics and concepts relatable.

Network Development
Each week, there is a live “Coffee Chat” with a different industry expert to give you a direct opportunity to network and ask important questions about career development.

Skills Development
In addition to virtual classes, you will be given assignments that reinforce key concepts and track your ability to apply your knowledge to generate answers and insights.

Career Development
After completing foundational classes, you’ll select one of two career-aligned specialization tracks:

1. Capital Markets & Fintech: Learn how modern markets operate through trading system design, data analysis, and the growing role of AI in financial infrastructure.
2. Alternative Investing: Build knowledge in the areas of venture capital, private equity, and private credit sectors reshaping how capital is deployed and where finance careers are headed.

Top-performing students from the June Professional Development Program will be invited to attend the July Apprenticeship Program at no additional cost.
Apprentice Program Details: Project-based learning led by industry experts to allow participants to gain direct, real-world industry experience in fintech and investing.
